Politicians must restore trust in the profession

On May 23, elections for the European Parliament and the local authorities will be held.

This will represent the first real opportunity for the electorate to respond to what the Government has or has not done over the past three years.

It seems inevitable that we will get a strong protest vote that could do serious damage to the local and European seats held by the two parties of Government.
