‘Unapproved’ top-up payments are just a symptom of a deeper malaise.

The issue of top-ups for those at the top of the food chain in the voluntary sector seems not to want to go away, and it shouldn’t.

It’s far too important to be allowed to be swept under the carpet, or worse still, to be effectively made ‘sub-judice’ as some internal inquiry investigates until of course the heat dies down.
