Nama is set to place up to €400m worth of prime property assets on the market in the coming weeks, in a move it hopes will signal further signs of growth in the economy.

Speaking at the Construction Industry Federation’s annual conference at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium yesterday, Nama chairman Frank Daly said the agency is preparing to place “a bundle of assets” onto the market and is confident the move will attract a lot of interest.

Mr Daly said that the properties would, most likely, be sold via two separate bundles and would cover property for commercial, office, and residential use.
