IBRC mortgage holders await payment update

It will be early next week before mortgage holders with IBRC, formerly Irish Nationwide and Anglo Irish Bank, will be able to make payments, as new arrangements for homeowners are put in place.

Letters updating mortgage holders on how to continue paying their loans are expected to be sent out at the start of next week.

IBRC’s residential mortgage book is worth €1.8bn but its annual accounts do not reveal how many mortgage holders there are with the bank.
