Over a third of Cork businesses believe that they are going to create jobs over the next year, according to the Cork Chamber quarterly economic trends survey.

The survey found that the number of respondents expecting to increase their employment levels had risen to 36%, up 4% on the previous quarter.

The survey revealed a positive trend across business with almost three quarters (74%) of businesses confident about the future of their business and 40% expect an increase in profits over the next year.
