NTMA will hold €500m bond auction

The National Treasury Management Agency is to continue its foray back into the international credit markets, this week, by offering half a billion euro worth of short-term treasury bills.

The NTMA announced plans of its latest auction — only its fourth since the start of Ireland’s bailout programme — yesterday.

The auction will take place tomorrow morning and will offer €500 million of T-Bills with a three-month maturity (up to January 21), similar to the last short-term bond auction held in September.
