Rising admin costs see chamber profits drop

Profits at the Cork Chamber of Commerce fell by more than €44,000, as administrative costs increased by more than €130,000 according to Cork Chamber’s Annual Report 2011.

Chief executive of Cork Chamber Conor Healy said the chamber had invested heavily in communications through out 2011.

“Through 2011 we have invested heavily in improving our communication infrastructure for the benefit of our members and with the roll-out of our new Works campaign which highlights the core chamber services,” he said.
