Consumer sentiment improves but mood remains downbeat, survey finds

The KBC Bank Ireland/ESRI Consumer Sentiment Index increased to 60.6 in March from 57.0 in February, the strongest since October.

The index compilers said the latest figures suggests the mood of consumers remains fairly downbeat.
