Validation expertise demand helps double jobs at GxP Systems

DEMAND for validation expertise has driven a doubling of staff numbers at GxP Systems, a positive indicator for the pharmaceutical and medical devices sectors.

Cork-based GxP’s staffing levels will reach 60 by January, up from 29 in June. The project management services company anticipates further expansion in the last two quarters of 2012, having begun work with a leading pharma and medical devices group with more than 20 centres across the USA.

GxP will provide validation and engineering support to help this US corporation gain FDA approval for a suite of cutting edge products. The fact that an Irish company is providing regulatory and compliance solutions to a large US entity in its home space is a very welcome evolution.
