Broadband usage by businesses continues to rise

THE use of broadband continues to increase among businesses, according to figures released by the CSO.

There is also a growing use by business of web page development, reflecting a growth in online transactions.

In 2011, 93% of business enterprises nationwide had internet connectivity, while 70% had a website or homepage.
