Saving euro will require EU courage, says Kenny

SAVING the euro will require courage from EU leaders, Enda Kenny said yesterday, as he warned of a real and present danger to the single currency.

The Taoiseach said the euro can be saved and will be saved but “it does require decisiveness and clarity and courage in making decisions”.

Stability in the eurozone was in the vital national interest for Ireland and its future, he told the Dáil.
