Aer Lingus reports 5% rise in passenger numbers

The airline said yesterday that just in excess of 1.02 million people booked seats with it last month across each of its measurement metrics of short-haul, long -haul and regional flights.

Aer Lingus has only started including the regional aspect in its last two monthly passenger data lists. It refers to its Aer Arann franchise agreement and flights between Ireland and secondary locations in Britain; all of which are technically booked through Aer Lingus.
