DUBLIN city centre’s first “walk-in” accountancy and tax shop officially opened its doors last night, aimed at simplifying accounts and tax for sole traders and small and medium businesses.

The opening of the new branch of the TaxAssist network, which aims to create several jobs, was performed by Minister of State Lucinda Creighton.

TaxAssist on Camden Street is run by Dermot Kane, a chartered certified accountant of over 15 years’ experience.
