United Drug set to cut jobs
The Dublin-headquartered healthcare services group is understood to have begun talks with staff regarding its rationalisation plans, but it is as yet too early to know how many of its 700 Irish-based staff — or, indeed, 4,000 global workforce — could be affected.
In a trading update yesterday the company said it is looking to deliver the cost savings across its entire business. However, the suggestion was that its previously core Irish business is under review.
