RYANAIR still has plans for a low-cost transatlantic airline but it can’t get a fleet of planes to operate it.

The airline’s chief executive, Michael O’Leary, said there is a “huge opportunity” for a low fares airline to the US.

He said that he would like to acquire 40 to 50 aircraft to operate the service but the planes are not available.
