Market dips in nervous trading

THE ISEQ Index dropped 58.48 points to close at 2909.26. World markets fell, as fears of Europe’s debt crisis persisted.

In the banking sector, AIB lost 1c to close at 18.6c.

Bank of Ireland gave up 1.2c to close at 20.2c, while Irish Life & Permanent dipped 0.6c to 11.2c.
