UP to 30 high-quality research and development jobs will be created by security technology firm McAfee as part of a €6 million investment at its Cork facility.

The jobs were announced by Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Minister Richard Bruton, as the investment is supported by the Government with the aid of IDA Ireland.

The jobs created in the firm are for software engineers, who will be taken on board to lead cutting edge security technology in the fight against cyber crime.
