Airline sees hike in passenger figures

RYANAIR has reported a 10% year-on-year increase in monthly passenger figures for April — saying that 6.8 million people travelled on its planes last month compared to the 6.2m measured in the same month last year.

The airline has carried 74.2 million people this year, to date.

Meanwhile Ryanair’s load factor — the actual measure of seats filled, rather than just sold — was up by 2% in April.
