Manufacturing firms hiring again

EMPLOYERS are more optimistic about the outlook for businesses over the next few months, with many manufacturing firms saying they are hiring again.

Exporting companies are predominantly positive in their outlook, with almost two-thirds expecting their export sales to grow over the coming three months.

Employers group IBEC’s quarterly business sentiment survey showed a promising improvement in business sentiment in the first quarter of 2011.
