Exploration firm to place shares

PROVIDENCE RESOURCES is to raise £41 million (€49m) through a new share placing round.

The Tony O’Reilly-Jnr-headed exploration company is placing 16 million ordinary shares at €3.03 on the AIM and ESM markets in London and Dublin. The proceeds will fund an Irish drilling campaign.
