Paddy Power plans 500-job expansion

The jobs (another 810 positions are due to be created in the company’s British operations, with 130 due in Australia) will be spread across the company’s retail outlets and its online business centre at its Tallaght headquarters. The actual split of those jobs will see 375 in Tallaght and the remaining 125 across its Irish shops.

The company’s chief executive, Patrick Kennedy, said: “We operate in highly competitive markets and it’s essential that we remain competitive here out of Ireland in order to continue to expand this business and create more jobs.”
