Positive outlook on growth prospects

IT may be difficult to believe that Ireland can deliver sustainable economic growth and jobs in the midst of economic turmoil, but such potential for growth does exist, according to the chief executive of Forfas, Martin Shanahan, speaking at the publication of its new report Enterprise Statistics at a Glance 2010.

The report said the increasing contribution of net exports to economic growth continued in 2009.
