CSO: No change in trade surplus

Data from the Central Statistics Office show the balance of trade was positive with a surplus of €2,911m, and was unchanged from the March outturn.

Seasonally-adjusted exports were up by 4.4% in April over March while imports rose by 7.7%, the latter figure reflecting a pick-up in consumer demand.
