Kerry folk quickest at settling their bills

KERRYMEN have been the butt of many a joke over the years but for anybody who has done business with them, they are having the last laugh.

A survey has shown that Kerry business people are the quickest in the country at paying their bills, averaging just 20.93 days beyond the due date in the first quarter of this year.

They were followed closely by firms in counties Wicklow, Cavan and Mayo. Cork firms came in eighth, taking 23.16 days and Dublin 10th with 23.79 days.
