YOU kinda have to hand it to Ryanair. Times are far from easy for the airline industry but it still managed to post a full-year profit of €341 million.

No frills approach appears to pay off

It’s not going to win any awards for customer service, but when it comes to making money it’s hard to criticise its business model.

The airline is clear about the message it wants to get across – it’s a low fares business. The “no frills” come with passengers being forced to find their own seats and paying for coffees.
