IMI in favour of merger with university

THE Irish Management Institute (IMI) has unanimously voted in favour of a merger with UCC.

This was done at an extraordinary general meeting of members held yesterday at the IMI headquarters, in Dublin.

The moves to deliver the merger were going on for some time, but a positive outcome was expected when both sides some time back said they were prepared to fully examine the merits of such a move.
