Move to promote telecoms sector

Barcelona: Science, Technology and Innovation Minister, Conor Lenihan, is heading a drive to showcase the capabilities of the telecoms sector at the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona.

The Irish pavilion is organised by Enterprise Ireland. It will host 16 firms and support five more who are visiting the show.

Organisers said the event provides a “unique opportunity” to promote Irish enterprise as a source of “world-class products, services and technologies.
