Dairy Efficiency Programme to give farmers insight into cost control

DAIRY farmers will be given insights into controlling costs as part of the new €18 million three-year Dairy Efficiency Programme.

The Teagasc-led programme will offer milk producers technology and knowledge as Teagasc- trained facilitators provide training in efficient grassland management, breeding and financial management.

This training programme is being part-financed by unspent Single Payment Scheme funds.
