RBS put €480m into Ulster Bank

ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND GROUP, Britain’s biggest government- owned bank, provided its Ulster Bank unit in Ireland with an additional €480m of capital last month.

The transfer total this year now stands at to €2.06 billion, according to Bloomberg.

The latest injection was given to Ulster Bank (Ireland) on September 30 according to a filing with the Companies Registration Office in Dublin. An Ulster Bank spokeswoman confirmed the transfer took place.
