THE Irish market showed positive movement yesterday in line with its European counterparts.

The ISEQ index gained 47.36 points to finish the week at 2,146.04.

The financials had another up day as the bank stocks have started to level off from the recent volatile times. AIB and Bank of Ireland pushed on 7.4c and 9.3c to 66.4c and 50c. Irish life and Permanent added a healthy 40c to €1.30.
