Sheep farmers on alert for killer marauding dogs at lambing time

SHEEP farmers across the country are on the alert for marauding dogs that can kill and injure vulnerable sheep flocks.

There are up to 2.5 million heavily pregnant ewes on 33,000 sheep farms at this critically important lambing period.

Each year particularly at lambing time dogs that are allowed to run free become a serious menace to flocks.
