Seismic survey contract awarded

PROVIDENCE RESOURCES has awarded the contract to undertake the planned 3D seismic survey at its Spanish Point prospect, off the Co Clare coast, to the Norwegian specialists, Bergen Oilfield Services.

Providence has a 56% stake in the Spanish Point field and studies suggest it may contain a significant commercial discovery.
