Woman dies in stabbing

GARDAÍ in Dublin have launched a murder investigation, following the fatal stabbing of a woman at a hostel for the homeless in Ranelagh last evening.

The 28-year-old woman was found shortly after 7pm and rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital where she later died.

A man in his 40s was arrested and the scene was cordoned off for forensic tests.
