Enterprises using internet still rising

ALMOST all enterprises with 10 or more workers now connect to the internet, according to the CSO.

The proportion of all enterprises, having a computer connected to the internet continued to rise in 2008 reaching a level of 96%, the CSO’s information society statistics for enterprises this year shows.

“Access to the internet using broadband rose sharply in 2008, 83% of all enterprises with 10 or more employees had a broadband connection compared with 68% in 2007 and 61% in 2006.
