HSBC creates €4bn SME fund

HSBC, Europe’s largest bank, created a $5 billion (€4bn) fund to increase access to credit for small and medium-sized businesses.

Up to £1 billion from the new fund has been allocated to British customers.

HSBC will provide the capital from its own resources, it said.
