Factory gate prices rise by 2.6%

FACTORY gate prices rose by 2.6% on an annual basis in October after a 1.2% increase in the month compared with September, according to the latest figures from the CSO.

On a monthly basis, the price index for export sales increased by 1.3% while the index for home sales increased by 0.3%.

In the year there was an increase in the price index for export sales of 2.1% and an increase of 4.9% in respect of the price index for home sales.
