School science scheme launched

THE chief executive of Cork Chamber Conor Healy yesterday announced the launch of a pilot school science awards scheme, sponsored by Boston Scientific.

The project is aimed at pre-junior certificate students in selected schools in Cork.

The hope is to encourage students to consider studying science and engineering.
