C&C’s Magners sales down by 27%

C&C Group’s sales of Magners cider in British pubs and restaurants fell in July, Goodbody Stockbrokers said, citing figures from researcher ACNielsen.

C&C’s Magners sales down by 27%

The Dublin-based company sold 27% less cider in Britain in July than a year earlier, Goodbody said. Competitors’ sales gained 18% on that basis, according to the figures. C&C declined as much as 8.1% in Dublin trading.

Three-quarters of C&C sales are from cider.
