Down Under Expo to highlight overseas opportunities in farming

YOUNG farmers and agricultural students in Ireland are being wooed by New Zealand to take up jobs and temporary placements on its farms.

The opportunities in farming 19,000km away will be outlined at the Down Under Expo which will take place at the RDS in Ballsbridge on September 27 and 28.

Now in its fourth year, the initiative is the only event of its kind and has already assisted thousands of Irish people in emigrating and starting a new life in Australia and New Zealand.
