Kingspan bearish as housing market slowdown continues

BUILDING materials group Kingspan warned yesterday that earnings will fall this year as the sharp slowdown in housing hits key markets in Britain and Ireland.

In its trading update to its AGM in Dublin yesterday, the group blamed tightening economic conditions for the gloomier outlook.

Trading conditions continued to tighten and that was notable in the first four months of the year, it said.
