O’Reilly raises media group stake

INDEPENDENT NEWS & MEDIA chief executive Tony O’Reilly raised his stake to 27.22% in the group yesterday.

Mr O’Reilly purchased a million shares, at a price of 2.12 per share last week which brought his shareholding in the group to 27.10%.

He had originally upped his stake to 26.99% on Wednesday last week.
