Market regains some lost ground

THE Irish market finished up 69.22 at 6,909.14. The big news of the day was a profit warning from Ryanair which fell 6c to €3.54, with over 17 million shares traded. It had been as low as €3.05.

Market regains some lost ground

In construction, CRH moved up 55c to €26.90, Kingspan added 27c to €9.67 while Grafton gained 13.3c to €5.60.

The banking sector had a mixed day. Anglo performed strongly progressing 24.1c to €10.14, AIB lost ground to €15.07 down 23.9, while Bank of Ireland fell 1c to €10.19.
