BeefExpo to showcase pedigree beef

ONE of the major agri-events in 2008 will be BeefExpo, a two-day international conference and show of pedigree beef cattle in the autumn.

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food will provide funding towards the event, which Bord Bia will co-ordinate.

Systems and characteristics of Irish livestock production and cattle breed improvement will be outlined along with an exhibition of livestock to showcase pedigree beef cattle available in Ireland.
