ALMOST a third of Irish people work from home, with the concept most popular in Dublin, Limerick and Cork.

This is according to research from BT Ireland which also found that of the people who don’t work from home, a third said the main reason for this is that they have not been offered the opportunity by their employer.

More than a third of people said that a more relaxing and less stressful home environment is the main advantage to working from home, while a fifth said not having to commute is a significant advantage not having to travel to the office.
