NIB abolishes cross-border fees

NATIONAL Irish Bank and its sister company Northern Bank yesterday announced the abolition of fees for electronic cross-border transfers, between customer accounts in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.

Until now, customers transferring funds between the two banks were charged €10 for South to North transfers and £12 for North to South transfers.
