Global family business survey

ONE-in-four Irish family businesses are expected to change hands within the next five years with half of these expecting to remain within the family.

This is according to the first global family business survey released yesterday by PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The survey found two thirds of Irish family businesses do not have a plan outlining their future ownership.
