Chamber boosts science skills

CORK Chamber launched an initiative yesterday which it said will play a part in supporting the development of science and engineering skills in the region.

Chamber member companies will sponsor students who have chosen science and engineering programmes for the duration of their four-year degree course.

Companies will also facilitate a period of work experience for students in their third year of study.
