Market continues in sluggish form

THE ISEQ Index continued its downward trend reflecting losses across European bourses yesterday.

The Irish market fell 87.33 to 7,791.86.

The financials had a mixed day with AIB adding 10c to €16.90. Bank of Ireland fell 11c to €12.07 with 1.8 million shares traded. Anglo Irish shed 28c to €12.07 while Irish life & Permanent dropped 14c to €14.97.
