THE DUBLIN market continued its recent progress closing marginally up yesterday as the ECB left their base rate unchanged at 4%.

The ISEQ index finished the session 43.72 points stronger at 8,411.47.

Of the financials, AIB slipped 1.5c to €18.26, while Bank of Ireland added 4c to €13.52. Anglo-Irish tacked on 10.2c to €14.22 and Irish Life and Permanent shed 11.2c to €17.888. In construction, CRH jumped 28c to €30.34 and McInerney gained 17c to €1.72. Kingspan lost 6c to €17 and Grafton increased 4c to €8.78.
