Market again in strong showing

THE Irish exchange closed in positive territory for the third day running as the markets worldwide rallied.

The ISEQ jumped 100 points to 7,983.

The financials were 103 points better off. AIB gained 29c to €17.29. Bank of Ireland added 10c to €13.10. Irish Life and Permanent was 64c stronger at €16.19 while Anglo bucked the trend dipping 25c to €13.01.
